Our Mission

To produce love-affirming visual stories that entertain, enlighten and educate under the three branches of narrative, “reel-world”, and educational projects.

Our Vision

To operate on a parallel track of telling love-affirming narrative, documentary, and educational stories - while also serving as a practical training ground for future young artists, both in front of and behind the camera.

About Vine & Branches

Hailing from Philadelphia, Anthony Joseph (AJ) Giunta made his feature-film screenwriting and directorial debut with a movie entitled “CONTEST”, a story about a bullied high school kid who finds himself working on an interaction-intensive project with his worst bully. Though both guys enter the collaboration very reluctantly, they progressively develop an unexpected genuine friendship.

The film premiered on Cartoon Network and shortly thereafter won the Children’s Division Audience Award at the Mill Valley Film Festival.

Following that, AJ wrote, directed, and produced SKIN IN THE GAME, a full-length play revolving around a teen suicide; the play opened the inaugural Pittsburgh Fringe Festival and went on to have successful runs at both the New York International Fringe Festival and FringeArts in Philadelphia.

AJ creates stories for film, network-streaming, and theater that are socially relevant – while engaging and entertaining his audiences.

He hopes his work will engross and enlighten viewers for decades to come.

The Vine

Projects will be rooted in the definition of love, that is echoed in Thomas Aquinas
(paraphrasing):
“… consistently willing and choosing the good of the other”
– a robust antidote to the “me culture” of the world.

The Branches

The vine contains three branches with which to tell our stories of choosing other-focused love (or, sometimes choosing against it - with the ramifications that follow).
